What to expect?

At the beginning of your treatment, you will be instructed to sit in a chair, and a special gel will be applied to the area where there is skin cancer. Our team will use an ultrasound imaging wand to identify and look at the skin cancer that is present. With this technology, we can measure the size and shape of the cancer. This assists with defining the proper treatment area. We will then target the area with the SRT-100 and distribute the correct amount of X-ray energy to the site. This ensures that none of the surrounding healthy tissue is affected.

The treatment sessions typically take about 15 minutes from the time you walk in to when you leave our office.
